| CROMAC Center for Testing, Development and Training Ltd (CROMAC CTDT) from Croatia successfully finished Training for UXO Detection and Removal - Level 2. The training was held in Topusko, Croatia between 07 November and 18 November 2011.

| The Convention on Cluster Munitions entered into force (2010-08-01) |

| The Convention on Cluster Munitions entered into force on 01 August 2010 and prohibits all use, stockpiling, production and transfer of cluster munitions. ITF has been active in this field since 2003.
Slovenia signed and ratified the Convention on Cluster Munitions which requires from all states parties to that Convection to fully respect the full prohibition of use, stockpiling, production and transfer of cluster munitions. In addition, the Convention also covers care and rehabilitation for victims of cluster munitions, clearance of contaminated areas, risk reduction education and destruction of stockpiles.

On Saturday, 10 April 2010, a charitable event - concert was held in Križanke festival hall in Ljubljana as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Lions Club activity in Slovenia. Various artists performed during the concert - among others folk group Terrafolk, Tokac from the rock band Dan D, Oto Pestner, Jadranka Juras, Janez Bončina Benč, Ave, Anže Palka with New Flamenco Orchestra, Mak Grgič, Pavle Kavec and group Oko and Lions Band. All charitable proceeds from the concert were allocated for tuition intended for children from low income families, for the park for blind and visually impaired persons in Celje, the implementation of “School in the Box” program and for International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance for activities in the field of mine action.

| Upon the initiative of President of Slovenia for humanitarian assistance to Gaza and following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Health, which is one of the founding ministries to the ITF, donated 146,000.00 EUR for the project of rehabilitation of children from Gaza. Donation in the amount of 2,2 million USD is earmarked for co-financing and support structures involved in process of demining in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is third donation of the Council of Ministers BIH for demining process support in BIH.
Minister Halilović and ITF Director Dorijan Maršič hope in a future successful cooperation for elimination of mine threat in Bosnia and Herzegovina and contribution to improvement of the conditions for people BIH to live in the safe environment.

The 15th South Eastern Europe Mine Action Coordination Council (SEEMACC) meeting was held on Thursday, 13 October 2005 in Bijela, Montenegro (SCG). Opening speech was delivered by Aleksandar Moštrokol (Secretary General; Government of Montenegro, Ministry of Foreign Affairs).The main point of the SEEMACC was dicussion about new SEEMACC rules of procedure and about implementation of common project proposal on borderline between Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro. The idea was to prepare one extensive project proposal where all national mine action centres will cooperate. Next SEEMACC meeting is planned to be held in Sibenik, Croatia in April 2006.

(Ljubljana, 18.10.2005) Memorandum of understanding was signed today between International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) and Swiss Federation in amount 250.000,00 CHF, by Swiss Ambassador H.E. Mr. Paul Koller and Mr. Dorijan Maršič, director of ITF, at the premisses of Swiss Embassy in Slovenija. Funds will be earmarked for demining operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina for support of two manual clearance teams within the project of Norwegian People's Aid. Swiss Federation has already, over the past seven years, contributed to ITF more than 3 millions of american dollars and remains one of biggest and most regular donors to ITF. Problem of eliminating mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) still remains very present in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the most mine polluted country in South-East Europe region. Mine affected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina still cover more than 2.000 square kilometers of surface, which represents approximately 4 percent of total country size

(Washington, 14.09.2005) Director of International Trust Fund for demining and victims assistance (ITF) Dorijan Maršič and deputy director of ITF Goran Gačnik met at premises of Capitol Hill with four representatives of American congress and senate to personally thank them for continuous support to ITF. On this occasion senator Mike DeWine and Richard Durbin, as well as congressman Elton Gallegly and Steven R. Rothman received acknowledgement plaquettes for continuous support to ITF. Representatives of ITF had on this regular visit in United States also met with other mine action actors: in State Department they presented plans for ITF activities in year 2006 and had a meeting with ambassador Robert M. Beecroft, former head of OSCE mission in BiH and supporter of initiative for regional approach in mine action. Moreover ITF representatives met with some of continuous donators and partners of ITF in USA such as Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation, representatives of Landmine Survivors Network and headmen of James Madison University.

Mr. Hans Jochen Peters, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany in Slovenia and Mr. Dorijan Maršič, Director of ITF signed memorandum of understanding for the donation of 1.85 million euro earmarked for demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo (Serbia and Montenegro). Major part of donation (1.7 million euro) will be used in Bosnia and Herzegovina to clear infrastructure and agricultural land and at the same time enable safe return of IDP's and refugees to their homes in more than 20 municipalities all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. 150.000 euro will be used for the clearance of recently discovered minefields in Dulje pass (Kosovo) bordering Albania, which will enable safe transport and travel among local population.

Information day was first joint hearing of the Development, the International Trade and the Foreign Affairs Committees- via the Subcommittee on Security and Defence. Hearing was organized with the purpose to raise awareness about the problem of landmines among members of European parliament. Director Dorijan Maršič and Deputy Director Goran Gacnik used this opportunity to present to PM's landmine situation in the regions of South East Europe and South Caucasus as well as to inform them about the work and plans of ITF in the field of Mine Action. ITF also promoted regional cooperation among mine affected countries in the region of SE Europe which would contribute to more rational use of funds and capacities and faster eradication of landmine problem. For that reason also director of Croatian Mine Action Center, Mr. Jungwirth and director of regional Mine Detection Dog School, Mr. Hagimujagic participated on the event. |

As a part of NATO Parliamentary Assembly spring session, taking place in Ljubljana between 27-31 May 2005, a Science and Technology Committee also held session. There Mr. Dorijan Maršič ITF director gave presentation on the demining operations in the region of South East Europe titled "Social Impact and Technical Capabilities on a Field of Humanitarian Demining in the Region of South East Europe”. At the same time he also introduced the strategy of anti-mine activities in mine-affected countries and regional cooperation as the example of good and positive practice. He stressed that the international community should continuously help the region of South East Europe, regardless of the efforts of national capacities, to reach the goal of ‘’free of impact of mine until 2009.’’

| The Rotary Club Calvia organised a Charity Golf Event sponsored by Engel & Völkers on Palma de Mallorca on 21 May 2005. € 13.000,00 were raised and the funds to 2 organizations during that event. Rotary Club Calvia and E&V agreed to donate € 3.000,00 to the ITF and a cheque was handed over to Mr. Dorijan Marsic, Director. The funds will be doubled by the matching fund system and earmarked for a project of rehabilitation of a child – landmine survivor from Albania. ITF representatives visited OSCE Headquarters in Vienna with the purpose to introduce work of ITF and discuss about possibilities of cooperation between the two organizations. ITF would like to transfer its knowledge in the field of Mine Action accumulated from the region of SE Europe to the regions of South Caucasus and Central Asia. OSCE is already strongly involved in both regions, South Caucasus and Central Asia regions respectively. Representatives of implementing agency Norwegian Peoples Aid presented the organization of demining site and standard operational procedures in humanitarian demining. EU parliamentarians have shown great interest for a mine problem in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

| Kingdom of Norway remains devoted supporter of Mine Action in SEE (2005-04-06) |

International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) has again received the Kingdom of Norway donation for 2005. The amount of $ 4.647.261,71 is part of biannual Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Kingdom of Norway and ITF. The seventh consecutive donation will be used for demining and technical survey activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Part of the donation, in amount of $23.133,00 will be earmarked for the rehabilitation of mine victims from the region of SE Europe. In the past seven years, Kingdom of Norway donated more than $ 27.2 million US confirming to be one of the biggest supporters to Mine Action through ITF as well as worldwide.

The main point of the SEEMACC meeting was discussion about new SOPs and about SEEMACC rules of procedure. All SEEMACC members/observers presented action plans for 2005. | Humanitarian Event »Night of A Thousand Dinners« (2005-03-12) |

This year's event "Night of a Thousand Dinners" took place at Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana, on 12 March 2005. Fourth consecutive, with over 200 guests attending, was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia. Altogether, nearly 8,000.000 SIT were raised. Proceeds from the "Night of a Thousand Dinners" will be earmarked for two demining projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the USA-UNA, Adopt-A-Minefield clearance program. The main goal of the event was to spread mine awareness and raise means for landmine eradication. Hosts of the dinner were H.E. Mr. Thomas Robertson, Ambassador of the United States of America, H.E. Mr. Robert Hage, Ambassador of Canada and Mr. Dorijan Maršič, ITF. Honorary guest at the dinner was Minister of Defense of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Karl Erjavec. On the event also photos on theme of »Mine Action in the region of SE Europe« by Arne Hodalič, renown Slovenian photographer were presented.

| Successful Conclusion of First Regional Management Course in Tbilisi (2005-02-28) |

The first management training course for mine action middle managers in the South Caucasus was successfully conducted by Georgian Technical University over two modules between 6 December 2004 and 18 February 2005. 20 participants from all three countries of the region, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia attended the course and graduated from the course. All participants gained new and needed knowledge on management in mine action, but also established good relations among each other, which will contribute to improvement of their performance in the field of mine action.

| International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance organized working breakfast with journalists from Slovenia.
Purpose of such events that ITF is usually organizing once a year is to inform journalist regarding the progress, problems and new development in Mine Action and ITF. Journalist that are new to MA topics have possibility to get basic information and explanation of MA process and about the work of ITF.
On this occasion new director of ITF, Mr. Dorijan Maršič presented himself and ITF strategy for the following year. Conclusions from the Nairobi Summit for Mine Free World were also presented due to the importance of first review conference of the Ottawa convention of prohibition of use, stockpiling, production and transfer of anti-personnel mines.

| Medical equipment for Hospital in Kukes, Albania (2004-11-23) |

| International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) has provided to Kukes Regional Hospital in Albania a portable x-ray and three othopaedic surgical kits. The equipment was provided under United States Department of State donation. As Kukes lies in the north-east of Albania and is, thus, the closest town to the mine affected area, its need to treat mine victims is the greatest. In order to avoid long and costly transports of mine victims to hospital in Tirana, Kukes hospital acquired much needed equipment that will greatly help better and quicker assistance to victims on the more professional and quality level.
At the handover event held on 23 November, Hospital Director Mark Nufi, American Embassy official Ningchuan Zhu and ITF Director Dorijan Maršič gave short speeches expresing mutual gratitude and wishes of continuation of good cooperation and support to the region. |

We are pleased to announce that ITF received note verbale from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Cyprus stating that demining project in Cyprus (UNFICYP controlled buffer zone) started on 16 November 2004. Government of the Republic of Cyprus also thanked Governments of Canada (250.000 USD) and Slovenia (1 million SIT) for providing funds through ITF which covered costs of setting up UN Mine Action Cell as well as detection and personal protective equipment for the two implementing agencies chosen on UNDP restricted tender.
The demining program is further funded by the EU through its program »Partnership for the Future«, which has already made available 2.5 million Eur so that demining process in Cyprus would proceed as planned. |

| A very successful auction of the U.S. Women Fed Cup Team tennis equipment was concluded by a champagne toast on 26 May 2004. At his residence the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Slovenia Johnny Young recepted tennis equipment purchasers, representatives of ITF, Slovenian Tennis Association, Finance newspaper, and journalists. Two checks were presented, each for 2.5 million SIT. In addition to auction collection, U.S. Tennis Association added its donation. The 2.5 million SIT was then doubled by US DoS matching fund.Thus, 5 million SIT was contibuted for rehabilitation of children mine victims from the region SE Europe and MVA initiatives.

| The fifth summer holidays for children - mine victims from Bosnia and Herzegovina were enabled by the US donation to ITF at the Health Resort in Debeli Rtič. The 7 day holidays from 03 to 10 May 2004 were organized by ITF in cooperation with the Red Cross of Republic of Slovenia. At this occassion, the US Ambassador Johnny Young also visited the children on Friday, 07 May 2004.
The similar holidays will be organized for additional group of children from Albania and Macedonia in the fall 2004.

| The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia-Department for Civil Protection and the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance signed a Protocol for the Development of Capacities and Transfer of the Responsibility for Human Demining Process to the Republic of Macedonia at ITF headqarters in Ig, Slovenia. Both sides have thus agreed that it is neccessary to improve the activities of the human deminig process in the Republic of Macedonia in order to develop capacities and to transfer the responsibilities to the MOD.

Presentations were also given on the topics of Cyprus Mine Problem, CROMAC-Center for Testing, Development and Training, SHARE SEE Project by Handicap International, and US Humanitarian Mine Action Strategic Plan. The Session was attended by 22 of 28 members of ITF Board of Advisors.

| Norway again contributed 4,2 million USD to ITF (2004-03-26) |

| ITF has again received the Kingdom of Norway donation for 2004 in amount of 4.231.807,82 USD. The Memorandum of Understanding was presented on 26 March 2004, at ITF Headquarters-Ig. H.E. Mrs May Britt Brofoss, Ambassador of Kingdom of Norway in Slovenia, and Mr Jernej Cimperšek, Acting Director of ITF,signed this, already the sixth, donation of Kingdom of Norway. It shall be used for demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Part of the donation, in amount of 145.000 USD will also be earmarked for the program of rehabilitation of mine victims. In the past six years, Kingdom of Norway has donated more than 22,6 million USD and is, thus, the second biggest donor to ITF besides US. |

| A three week course in Humanitarian Underwater Demining implemented at Regional Center for Underwater Demining in Bijela was completed on 07 March 2004. This was already the second generation of divers that succesfully finished the course at RCUD in Bijela-Montenegro (SCG). The course was attended by 12 divers from 5 countries, namely Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Russia and Serbia and Montenegro that were proposed within the South-East Europe Mine Action Coosrdination Council (SEEMACC) members. | Humanitarian Event "Night of a Thousand Dinners" (2004-02-09) |

| This year's event "Night of a Thousand Dinners" took place at Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana, on 6 February 2004. Third consecutive, with over 200 guests attending, was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia. Altogether, nearly 8,000.000 SIT were raised. Proceeds from the "Night of a Thousand Dinners" will be earmarked for rehabilitation of Albanian mine victims and the USA-UNA Adopt-A-Minefield clearance program. The main goal of the event was to spread mine awareness and raise means for mine eradication. Hosts of the dinner were H.E. Mr. Johnny Young, Ambassador of the United States of America and Mr. Jernej Cimperšek, ITF. Honorary guest at the dinner was former president of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Milan Kučan.

| Austria donated more than 340.000 Euro for mine clearance activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. in the district of Brčko and Unsko-sanski canton. The donation will clear more than 200.000 square meters of high priority mine-contaminated areas. The donation agreement was signed today at the Austrian Embassy between the Austrian Ambassador, H.E. dr. Ferdinand Mayrhofer-Grünbühel and ITF director, Jernej Cimpersek.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is still the most mine-affected country in the region of South-East Europe with more than 2000 square kilometers of suspected mine-contaminated land. Thus this donation will contribute to the aim of clearing Bosnia and Herzegovina of mines by year 2010.

| State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia and ITF signed the agreement for the donation of 250 sheets of digital orthophoto (scale 1:5.000) in total amount of 200.000 EUR. European Commission donated funds for the production through the project “Geographic Information System for Mine Action in South-East Europe”. Two Croatian firms Geofoto d.o.o. and Zavod za fotogrametriju d.d. were selected through international tender for the DOP production. Digital orthophoto and digital maps in scale 1:5.000, as a product of high technology, represent technically, qualitatively and economically best solution for upgrading basic cartographic processes and geographical information systems, in function of planning, studying and analysing of humanitarian demining in Croatian Mine Action Centre. |

| Regional Mine Detection Dog Center was officially opened on Tuesday, 14 October 2003 in Borci-Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. For the first three years the MDD Center will be financed by the Office for Humanitarian Demining Programs, United States Department of State, after which the responsibility for the Center will be taken over by the BiH Council of Ministers. Mr. Tomlinson is a visionary geographer who conceived and developed the world's first Geographical Information System (GIS) for the Canada Land Inventory. He pioneered the use of GIS worldwide to collect, manage and manipulate geographical data, changing the face of geography as a discipline. |

| ITF Deputy Director, Mr. Goran Gačnik handed over the laptop computer to 14-year old girl from Albania, mine victim, Fllanxa Murra in the premises of the Institute for Rehabilitation of Republic of Slovenia in Ljubljana on 26 September 2003.
ITF already raised more than SIT 2 million with the voluntary contributions of the participants at the humanitarian event "Night of a Thousand Dinners" on 30 November 2002 for a rehabilitation of Fllanxa who has lost both of her legs and partially also wounded her hand. The rehabilitation at the Institute for Rehabilitation has enabled her to increase mobility in her life. The computer is of vital importance for her to continue education and reintegrate into the society.

| Predstavniki Mednarodne ustanove – fundacije za razminiranje in pomoč žrtvam min (ITF) so se skupaj s češkim veleposlanikom v Sloveniji Tomašem Szunyogom danes v vasi Stoberda v severni Albaniji udeležili predaje očiščenih minskih polj v uporabo lokalnemu prebivalstvu. S sredstvi, ki so jih preko ITF-a donirale Češka, Luksemburg, Nemčija, ZDA ter EU, sta organizaciji DanChurcAid ter Swiss Foundation for Mine Action v regijah Kukes, Has in Tropoje letos očistili preko 100.000 m2 ozemlja. Mednarodna ustanova – fundacija za razminiranje in pomoč žrtvam min (ITF) je letos za aktivnosti v Albaniji zbrala preko 2,7 milijona ameriških dolarjev, od leta 2000 pa skupaj že več kot 7,4 milijona.

| Visit of the minefields in Northern Albania (2003-09-25) |

| The ceremony of hand-over of the cleared land to the local communities took place in Stoberda, Northern Albania on Friday. Albanian Mine Action Executive thus handed over the land cleared in 2003 by the two demining NGOs DanChurchAid and Swiss Foundation for Demining for safe use to local population. The ceremony was attended also by the representatives of the donor community, Albanian authorities, UNDP, KFOR and ITF. The ceremony was also accompanied by the presentation of the demining machine ML-1 that was the donation of the United States of America through ITF to the Albanian Mine Action programme and Danminar MDD team, that was supported by the Czech donation through the ITF.
With the sufficient donor support in 2004 and 2005 Albania could be free of the effect of mines by the end of 2005. |

| Visit of BiH delegation (2003-09-09) |

| Members of the BiH presidency visited the Center for Mine Victims at the Institute for Rehabilitation of Republic of Slovenia (IRRS) in Ljubljana on 9 September 2003. ITF Director, Jernej Cimperšek has invited the BiH delegation to present the activities of ITF in BiH and the rehabilitation programme for mine victims executed through ITF at IRRS.
Until now ITF has funded the rehabilitation for 646 mine victims from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Rehabilitation centers in BiH and IRRS and 16 additional patients - mine victims are being rehabilitated at the moment at IRRS. |

| New donation of Ireland to the ITF (2003-09-05) |

| Ireland and ITF signed the Memorandum of understanding for the new Irish donation in amount of 115.450 Euro. The Memorandum was signed by the Irish Ambassador in Slovenia, H.E. Mr Gary Ansbro and ITF director. The donation will be used for the support of mine clearance operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. the mechanical ground preparation for support of Entity Armed Forces demining. EAF demining is coordianted through SFOR.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is still one of the most mine-affected countries in the SEE region with more than 1 million mines and UXOs still contaminating the land. The donation will help in restoring the return of the peoples lives to the path of normalcy. |

| V okviru 9. srečanja predsednikov sreednjeevropskih držav je slovaški predsednik Rudolf Schuster na Bledu predal direktorju Mednarodne ustanove-fundacije za razminiranje in pomoč žrtvam min (ITF) Jerneju Cimperšku stroj za razminiranje slovaške proizvodnje, Božena 4. Stroj, z manj kot 5 tonami teže, spada med tako imenovane lahke stroje za razminiranje, ki so zelo uporabni na manjših in neravnih površinah, saj so zaradi svoje »majhnosti« relativno okretni. |

| Mednarodna ustanova Fundacija za razminiranje in pomo>č žrtvam min (ITF) je s svojim delom, ki zajema odstranjevanje min in neeksplodiranih ubojnih sredstev ter usposabljanje makedonskih ekip za razminiranje, v Republiki Makedoniji prisotna od konca leta 2001. S ciljem vračanja razseljenega prebivalstva na svoje domove so do meseca decembra, ko so dela zaradi vremena začasno prekinili, očistil že več kot 2.000 objektov in preko dva milijona kvadratnih metrov onesnaženih površin. |

| Jernej Cimperšek, direktor Mednarodne ustanove - fundacije za razminiranje in pomoč žrtvam min (ITF) je bil na povabilo generalnega sekretarja Zveze NATO, lorda Robertsona gost zasedanja Sveta evro-atlantske zveze - Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC). Lord Robertson je zasedanju, ki je potekalo na sedežu Zveze NATO v Bruslju tudi predsedoval. Na njem je Cimperšek v kratki predstavitvi govoril o delovanju ITF-a, ki ga v NATO-u ocenjujejo kot odličen primer učinkovitega regijskega sodelovanja na evro-atlantskem območju. |
