Czech Republic is one of regular supporters of the ITF. Since the establishment of the ITF in 1998, Czech Republic has contributed on annual basis, its total contributions reaching 1.050.000 EUR.
The contributions were mainly used for demining activities and mine victims assistance in SE Europe, notably in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, UNMIK/Kosovo and Serbia. In 2008, the Czech Republic contribution also supported ITF projects outside SE Europe, namely in Georgia where the establishment of national structure for mine action is being supported.
