Generous donation of United Kingdom to ITF

ITF recieved donation of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in amount of 1.000.000 GBP. Agreement upon donation was signed on 8. August 2005 at the British Embassy between British Embassador, Tim Simmons and director of ITF, Dorijan Marši?. United Kingdom is one of biggest donators to ITF and a signinificant contributor to solution of mine problem in region of SEE and other mine affected regions. Since establishment of ITF in 1998 United Kingdom already donated two times in total sum of more than 1.550.000 GBP. The third donation will be earmarked for humanitarian demining projects in four countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro an Azerbaijan.
