The Delegation of EU parlamentarians visited ITF Implementation Office

07.04.2005
The delegation of 10 European parliamentarians led by Elmar Brok (Chairman Foreign Affairs Committee) visited ITF Implementation office in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7 April 2005. After short presentation of ITF achievements in the region of South East Europe and in Bosnia and Herzegovina they visited active demining site near Sarajevo. Representatives of implementing agency Norwegian Peoples Aid presented the organization of demining site and standard operational procedures in humanitarian demining. EU parliamentarians have shown great interest for a mine problem in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
